I’m not that familiar with the hotel market in St. Petersburg, but I believe there is Marriott in there too. (I can be mistaken)
I stayed in mini hotel “By Hermitage”. It is kind of “no frills” hotel. But the rooms are clean, bathrooms too (but small). And it is relatively inexpensive. I paid like 130$ per night. But I have to warn you that here in the USA for the same price you would get a lot more. In Russia hotels are really overpriced!

    Thank you so much …
Thank you so much for the information. I am a Marriott rewards member , so I am sure I would get alot of points in rewards staying there. I have also read mostly good to great reviews about the Marriotts in Moscow on tripadvisor.I rather pay more money and get great service as opposed to staying at a cheaper place and getting horrible service. Last question – what is the best hotels to stay in St Petersburg ? Thanks sunnysashka :)

Hi! I used to work …
Hi! I used to work in hotel industry in Moscow. There are 3 Marriotts on the same streat – Tverskaya. They are more expensive then in the USA, but if you have some discounts or employee rate – it really worth to stay. Because you’ll pay about 200$ per night in the hotels like “Cosmos” or “Izmailovo”, but those hotels are a lot worse in service. And STANDART room are disaster in those hotels. Go on the “tripadvisor” website. You’ll get an idea about hotels from guests feedbacks.
