Entrees include smoked king salmon, oysters on the half shell, pan-seared ahi tuna, steak tartare, sauteed calves’ liver, escargot and fried duck. The atmosphere is intimate, the dress code is semi-formal, and the Grand Cafe features indoor and outdoor seating. Finally I found a restaurant that gets it. Excellent food, beautiful setting, professional service. My business brings me to restaurants all over the US and Europe, and The Grand Cafe is second to none. I was told about this place by a business associate. When I walked in I thought it was a new restaurant, I was surprised to see they have been in business for 26 years! Many of the same emploees from day one, that says something. I brought clients here who ended up bringing in thier wives a few weeks later. The maitre d’ remembered them and treated them like gold, which has helped me tremendously. If you have an important business meeting and want to ensure its success, go to The Grand Cafe, if you want to impress friends, go to The Grand Cafe. Try the warm lobster salad app. its a one of a kind, also the sauteed veal entree, the rackof lamb, or if they have it the dover sole (they do it right, not like some other spots) and you must have a soufle for dessert.
Professional service, excellent food, beautiful setting

New York Times Article
The Grand Cafe in Morristown is as chichi as it gets in Morris County, according to Zagats restaurant guide. With wood panelling, stained-glass windows and waiters in black ties, the restaurant looks more old London club than New Jersey.
This corner of New Yorks less glamorous neighbour state is famously home to The Sopranos, but it is also the preferred dormitory zone for many business leaders. Close enough to New York for a Wall Street commute, it is far enough away to build big homes with long drives. New Jersey offers many a rich mans most precious commodity — privacy.
